Villa Lucca
Lying on the top of a private hill, in a position of absolute beauty, dominating the surrounding landscape, this villa enjoys an incredible panorama. The nighttime spectacle, studded with a multitude of lights from the houses, alternating with those of landing aircraft in nearby Galileo Galilei Airport at Pisa and a unique starry vault above, is an incomparable scene. The villa is surrounded by six hectares of gardens, consisting mainly of century-old olive trees (about 1000 of them), as well as fig trees, mimosas, and Mediterranean scrub. It dates from the 15th century and belonged to one of the most noble Lucca families which died out in the 19th century. The exclusive nature of this residence, immersed in total peace and quiet and surrounded by green countryside, creates a suitable scenario for wedding celebrations, cerimonies, concerts, tastings and exhibitions. The lemon-house, an annexe to the main villa and also dating from the 15th century, offers a valid alternative in the event of rain. The hospitality of the proprietors is of the highest standards; they are always ready to receive and carry out even the most demanding bride’s requests.
