Wedding day co-ordination

The wedding day can be very stressful for the bride and groom and their families, as all good wedding planners know, especially when they have already been through the experience, as we have. All those aspects that you have spent months planning are concentrated into just one day, just twelve short hours! Expectations are very high and if something goes wrong it cannot be remedied. The coordination of the wedding day is all important: everything will run smoothly if the planning has been carried out carefully by experienced people. If something does go wrong, the expert wedding planner should be able to sort it out immediately. An eye for detail, experience, quick—thinking and creativity are essential qualities when dealing with the unpredictable. The aunt who decides to take a photo of the bride before she leaves home, making her forget her honeymoon shoes; the friend who tears her hemline when she gives the bride a hug; the bride’s mother who misses the bride’s entrance because she is making sure everything is in order; the musicians who, at the moment of the cake cutting, are found chatting on the terrace outside. These are all moments which can detract from the enjoyment of the day for everyone involved.
